2011 May 18 Ride of Silence

Please join us at the 6th annual Philadelphia Ride of Silence, next Wednesday evening, May 18 at 6:30 pm on the front steps of the Art Museum. After a brief memorial service to honor the 13 14 Delaware Valley bicyclists killed since the 2010 memorial ride, the ride will leave at 7:00 pm and travel 8 miles at 10-12 mph through center city and university city, before returning to the Art Museum.  The Philadelphia police department will support this ride with rolling street closures.  I hope to see you on the 18th.
