Temple University Staff Member on Cross Country Ride

On December 16th, Glenn Eck, Facilties Superintendent, began a cycling journey from San Diego, heading cross country solo and self-supported to Jacksonville, FL. Glenn completed a similar ride in 2010, when he rode from the Gulf of Mexico north to the Great Lakes. 

Glenn will be following the Adventure Cycling Association’s “Southern Tier” route, hugging the southern U.S. border and trying to avoid snow in the Southwest Region, while tracking his progress with Endomondo's online workout tracker.

Glenn is traveling light: only carryig his road bike, 2 water bottles, and 15 lbs. of gear in a backpack. Pretty impressive!
